1st Annual Book Drive for Family and Children’s Aid of Danbury

October 15, 2016 During Ridgefield’s “Fall in Love With Ridgefield” town-wide event, the Max Michael Rosenfield Foundation held its first annual book drive collecting new books for Family and Children’s Aid of Danbury. We are thrilled to announce that it was a HUGE success!! Through generous donations we collected a total of 218 books! The foundation will be matching with another 218 books bringing the total books that we will be donating to Family & Children’s Aid of Danbury to 436!!! We are giving the gift of reading to hundreds of children. A pastime that was so close to Max. A special thank you to Paul Cherico for creating and donating our custom book plates that enabled our donors to personalize their book donation and to Ellen, and her amazing team, at Books on the Common who generously gave a discount to all of our donors when purchasing books for the drive.
