$160.00 collected by The Scott’s Ridge Middle School

Thank youSarah and Myles for all your support!

The Scott’s Ridge Middle School

The Civil Action Project (CAP) that is part of the Ridgefield, Connecticut School District curriculum is focused on helping children become better citizens. It does this by teaching them to work for the betterment of society, understand key practices involving the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, to understand the exercise of citizenship, and the importance of becoming informed in order to make positive civic contributions.

During the 2012-2013 school year, two students from Scotts Ridge Middle School, Sarah Ford and Miles Peckham, under the guidance of their history teacher, Chris Peterson, selected The Max Michael Rosenfield Foundation as the focus of their CAP project.

It was truly an honor for the Foundation to be recognized by the community, especially by children in the community, so early in it’s inception and we look forward to strengthening our relationship with the community in the future.

The video was running, they sold hats, handed out wristbands and collected $160.00 in donations. We were thrilled to meet Sarah and Myles. They are wonderful people and it was an honor for them to represent our foundation.
